Absolutely! No partner has the right to abuse the other, whether physical or emotionally. U deserve much more then to keep a few things the jerk gave u, that's for sure. I absolutely feel ur pain as I spent almost 8 years from 15 to almost 23 with a man like that. I tell u this, they take from us more then we will EVER get back from them, that's for sure.
