This is a fantastic cameo piece, it is etched glass, or intaglio Roman figure cameo , it is flat back, meant to be set into a frame of some sort to make a piece of jewelry, when you hold it up to the light it is amber colored,it measures 18 mm x 12 mm, all in very good condition, any spots are from camera flash...

Thanks for your interest in this lovely piece......I do not knowanything about its original maker....how I acquired it...years ago a very nice lady gave me bunches of cameos in part trade for a necklace she got from me.....she knew I collected cameos, I am now ready to part with some of my treasures now that I am on Listia and see all the stuff I want to bid on! It is very nice, and I should of taken more photos, especially with the light going throgh the piece, I may just do that if I get time
