The listing, Scholastic Signature Book "Just Juice" has ended.

This book is used but in excellent condition. The author is Karen Hesse, a 1984 Newberry Medalist. I believe to be a book for kids on a third or fourth grade reading level. It is about a girl who lives with her parents and four sisters way out in the hills. Her father gets a letter that lets him know they are about to lose their home to the bank, so they all have to work together to save it, while keeping it a secret from their mother. The book has a total of 138 pages.

I've read a few of her books, one that comes to mind is the Music of Dolphins. Definitely a great read for sure!

The inside cover states that the Text & Illustration copyright was 1998. First Scholastic Trade paperback printing, Nov 1999.

this is a great auction and it looks so well kept. The copyright on this is 1984? Am I correct in that assumption? f & w

As much as I would love this book, I think I will pass this time :) But for those who are indecisive on this book, it's a great read and the author is fantastic.
