Description
The listing, Belding Corticelli Silk Thread, sizes A & D on Wooden Spools has ended.
Here are 2 spools of size A (100yds) sewing silk and 12 spools of size D (10yds) buttonhole Belding Corticelli silk threads on wooden spools. They are either full or with very little taken off. I used this to tat lace with, so if I'd used them there would be a substantial amount missing. A few of them aren't secured, though, so either they just came loose or I may have removed a few inches to compare while prepping for a project.
These colors are not true. The ones that look brown are a dark grey and the top, 2nd from the left is a taupe. The others look pretty close. The color numbers are shown in the last picture.
When I realized that my very crafty niece didn't know what tatting is I thought that it really would become a lost art. Nice to see folk are passing it along!
Me too! I've kept these hanging around for years - too good to throw away and didn't know anyone to give them to. It's awesome to see that there are people who recognize them as treasure!
