An old favorite which was introduced in England in the mid-1800s. will grow in many zones and areas across the USA.
These Plants are known to live up to 80 years. They are a bit slow to get started until their root system is fully established the first couple of years. But once they get established in a well watered garden with occasional feeding they are know to grow 10" high and up to 6' wide in a single season. Starting from seeds is best done by freezing in your freezer with a couple of freeze thaw cycles over the winter. Search online for the best tips on germinating, starting and growing your seeds.
