Description
The listing, Magnificent 1890-S Morgan Silver Dollar has ended.
Up for bid today is a piece left to me by my late grandfather. He was a big time coin collector, mainly small cents, but left me a lot of Morgans and I have decided to put a few up on Listia for those that are either starting out in the world of collecting or those trying to get some silver for THE END OF THE WORLD!!! LOL.
I will put up some better photos tomorrow when the sun is up and I can really get the depth of detail on this coin. I haven't had it graded so use your discretion on what you think it would grade out at.
All listia rules apply and thanks for taking the time to look at my auction. All comments and questions welcome.
Questions & Comments
Add the kennedy and the quarter, I'm still waiting on my credits though. I should have them soon.
Ta heck with it, I'm going all in I gotta have this.. :-) I'm gonna go 2 bed though, I hope I can win it and I'll send shipping info when I get up hopefully nobody goes higher.. (fingers crossed) I need this in my collection
These mean a lot to me coming from my grandfather so I'm glad they are going to a good home, I regret selling one piece a 1909-S Indian head to a dealer when I needed cash but this site seems like a place where people appreciate what they bid on. And yes you will get the extras (even the penny!)
I knew you would be, you seem to have an amazing collection yourself, everyone should check out his auctions for some fine uc silver!! (But bid on mine lol)
So I have at the house is a few silver pieces I wasn't planning on listing but they may do as a toss in assuming you all come through on your end: 1953-D quarter circulated; 1953-D dime circulated and 1967 Kennedy half dollar.......all my other coins pre-1900 are Indian heads and a few more silver Morgans which will go in future listings (hopefully if this goes well). What do you think. I can't add photos or updates due to the last 24 hrs of an auction!!
Thanks, fanned you back. Coin collecting was something I did with my late grandpa and my mother, it's a great way to form a bond that will hopefully last a lifetime. Plus it gives you both something to do when she gets older and then will hopefully continue with it when she grows up. Counting and sorting pennies was a way for my mom to make math fun I guess you could say lol
