The listing, Dell Latirude D600 parts only! has ended.

This is an old Dell Latitude D600 laptop. It has Speed step technolgy. That means it runs at 600Mhz unless you have an authentic Dell charger and battery. I don't have a charger and the battery is dead. Given that you have both of these items it will run at 1.6Ghz. The power button is worn out on it also.

This laptop is primarily for parts only.

-Processor: Pentium M
-Memory: 256MB DDR
-20GB IDE Hard drive
-Slide out DVD CD burner
-Has an internal WiFi expansion card. Don't know speed.
-Has Windows XP Product Key label on bottom of case
-Has parallel, serial, VGA, PS2, and 2 USB ports.

If you can replace the power button, and battery it will run fine given that you have a Dell charger!

what windows is on it now and do you still have the original hard drive??? I work on these everyday a crashed hard drive is very easy to fix

It is Windows XP as stated above. The origioal hard had a burned out spindle motor, i got rid pf it years ago.

The origional hard crashed on this machine and wad replaced with a 20gb and the woreless card iadded as an aftermarket part it is an intel model.

according to Dell, the hdd (hard drive) is a 30 gig, also the WiFi is 802.11 b/g

The hard drive comes with it. It is Windows XP.

It did have Windows XP SP3. Its been a year or so since I started it up so I am not sure whether it still runs.
