Good to see that a Barbie born in the 60's is just as "frisky" as a Barbie made in the 90's! Maybe we should call her cougar! LOL...thanks for the laugh : )
Love the Barbie... If my Mom wasn't banned from the internet for buying over $1,000 in old dolls off of eBay in 24 hours she'd be here on Listia snapping this up for a millions points! This should be a great collector's piece! I think that this doll and I have the same morning hairstyle! Mooned ya... Oops I mean Fanned ya!
Hi i just came across this as a barbie fanatic (yes i know its lame but since i have a little girl who's getting into barbies i have an excuse) (or scape goat) either way I just wanted to let you know this ( the barbie in the picture) is not a midge its actually a 1963 to 1964 Bubble-cut Barbie Bubble-cuts are all similar to the midge with only facial differences you can tell easily by the darker eye colorings most official barbies did not have the makeup look. Also the year on the back of the doll is the date of patent/copyright registration, NOT the year of manufacture. This is the most confusing issue to anyone trying to identify the year their doll was made. Well good luck hope I was helpful! GREAT AUCTION btw
