The listing, Ten Different Vintage Handkerchiefs from the 1940's & 1950's has ended.

In Excellent to Good Condition. A great selection of hankies from years ago.

These came out of my Mother's stash. She has been collecting them for many, many years. Kept in a air tight container. No repairs, rips or stains. One does have a little stitching loose on the edges - came be easily repaired.

Only one white hanky in the group, but it has embrodiery, small cut-out design and applique on it.

Coloring is mostly very bright; two might be a little faded from being washed.

I will post individual pictures later.

You are always so incredibly generous to offer such lovely things, & especially with free shipping.
I am praying these reach a minimum of 60,000 credits for you, even if it means I have to miss out on them.
At approx. 1,000 credits to $1.00 cash value, that is still a steal, & hankies as nice as these are getting hard to find, even at $5.00 each, & of course you know many of these are worth far beyond $5.00...so 60,000 credits is the very lowest these should bring!
(We as bidders need to budget 5,000 credits to help with the shipping on these, also.)

1st thing is to be honest! Know your limitations. Shipping is expensive. I used to do many small auctions at first but it got to be too much (very limited income). Be patient. As being new to Listia, people will be leary of bidding high on your auctions because there are scammers on the site. I have lost credits and items I won because people did not send the item. Lost credits & items because people said they did not receive and I did not CMA by not putting tracking on the item.

Lovely hankies - I hope to bid. So many cute uses for them.

I read the post by a bidder about 1,000 points equal a dollar and I don't understand the math used for the calculation. I just purchased points - the best deal offered and paid $40. for 24,000 points - that comes out to about 60 cents per point. Plus you gotta figure the true value of the points is unknown it's all subjective.
