This listing is for a used Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 35mm Film camera with 55mm f2 SMC Takumar lens and a 3x teleconverter plus a filter for the lens.

Shutter fires at all speeds
Film compartment and viewfinder are clean
Lens focuses smoothly. Glass is clean. Aperture is dry and snappy. Includes 49mm filter.

This is a classic 35mm SLR - film photography instructors have used them for black and white photography classes for decades and still recommend them. They are durable workhorses, and a joy to shoot with. Film is still sold at many stores like Walmart, Walgreens and CVS etc and most places still have developing labs.

I guess I don't understand the "lol"? It takes pictures on film; when you finish shooting the roll, you take it to a lab (CVS, Walmart, Walgreens etc have pretty inexpensive services) and they develop it for you. Many hobbyists still have their own darkrooms and develop film themselves at home. "Old School"

Thank you! In my opinion, the Pentax Spotmatic is one of the best-designed cameras ever - right alongside the Nikon F with the plain prism finder. It's all-mechanical, so the shutter will run no matter if theres a battery in it to run the meter or not.
