Interesting Large Pendant on Leather Cord, Vintage? This was in a lot of jewelry from an estate sale. I have no idea what it is made of, but I doubt any precious metals are involved. It looks like a sand dollar but larger and heavy. I added the cord which is about 28 inches long.
