my husband likes old coins and he don't have one of these---he has cancer and been fighting it for 5 years-----it didn't show up in tests for over 4 years then in dec. it showed back up ------ in sept all the tests came back he did not have cancer----------3 months later ---they found the soft ball size one pushing on both his kidneys----that was where the pain was coming from--he went to er and they found it------------------------his kidneys was ready to burst--from no out put------they had to put tube in his kidneys so they could drain them ---last time he had these tubes in for months- months-----but they don't think he will be here this time around that long-----there the big one then several smaller ones in other parts of this body and some on his liver----he is taking chemo again but the dr said it was a wait and see-- if it works this time ---it didn't work last time--he had surgry and they did not get all of it out the first time and they cant do survery on him now there are more than 2 tumors and they are in different places---hoping to win and I just fanned you----thank you

im a big collector I have been collecting since I was 17 my grandma gave me a lot of old coins and I think she wanted me to collect so I have a whole book full she was my best friend she went to be with God when I was 16 she had emphysema.

Thanks for sharing your story....So sorry you lost your grandmother at such an early age but she obviously left you with some wonderful memories as well as sparking your interest in great world of coins. A large number of avid collectors initially became interested in numismatics because of a family member. I hear wonderful stories several times a week. Each story is unique and I'll never tire from hearing them. Thanks for taking the time to comment and I've fanned you....
