There are 178 total episodes and depending on the set most VHS only had four or five episodes so there is roughly around 36-40 tapes in the complete set though most are incomplete such as some sets don't include episode 24 or 41 or 61 or whatever episodes out was i don't remember now and from 1992 to 2001 various VHS collections were released in some form.
