Up for auction is a 1922 mint mark s peace dollar.....going on 100 years old....condition is curculated....has some scratches on it...and has a little black color on it....it is not mint but it looks good.....its almost an ounce of 90% silver i think.

It says peace on the back of the Coin and its a dollar. But I'm not sure the exact story why its a peace dollar or how it got it's name. It is 90% real silver. I know that.

It was not minted towards the end of WWI or any war. It was minted 3 years after WWI to memorialize the peace following the World War. It's called a peace dollar because it says "Peace" on it
