The listing, 12+ Sugar Snap Peas has ended.
There are few vegetables that are as loved as sugar snap peas. The kids may disappear all spring when it’s time to work in the garden, but when it’s time to harvest the sugar snap peas, you’ll have all the help you need, and you’ll be lucky to get some sugar snap peas in the house, as they don’t need to be shelled to be eaten, and taste great uncooked.
The best time for planting is early, 2-4 weeks before the last frost date, or alternatively 6-8 weeks before the first frost date in the fall. Sugar Snaps are a vine, growing to 6ft tall at times, and definitely need some type of support, They do BEST on a nice trellis but can do ok on a large WELL grounded tomato cage.
Plant the seeds 1/2 to 1 inch down, about 1.5-2 inches apart. These peas can be planted in rows, or they work well in more creative techniques like wide row or raised garden beds as well. Water requirement is about 1 inch a week and I personally use worm castings as my fertilizer. I will be listing some of the worm castings at a later date so watch my auctions :D
I will be selling many different seeds throughout the spring & summer so that when you are ready for your second and third planting (depending on your location) you'll have them :) I accept Paypal or 2 forever stamps and I DO combine shipping on multiple orders :D
I WISH I could ALWAYS do free shipping on everything but it does get expensive, as I am SURE that you can agree. No sob stories just tough times right now :D Thanks for your willingness to bid and I wish you a successful & WINNING bid :)
Thx for your confidence in me as a seller :D
