The listing, Heirloom ✽ ORANGE BANANA ✽ Paste Tomato ✽ 15 Seeds ✽ Organic has ended.

Vigorous plants with good yields of 2 1/2" - 3" 2 plum-shaped orange paste tomato with pointed ends and a good sweet-tart slightly citrus flavor. Also great for drying and fresh eating. I use these every year to add incredible color and flavor to my signature salsa. An all-purpose plum tomato with good disease resistance. Resists cracks in late summer and produces all the way until frost.

Days: 80- 85
Size: Indeterminate
Color: Orange
Season: Late-Season
Type: OP Heirloom
Uses: paste, canning

This Auction: You will be receiving 15 seeds from my garden. They will be sent First Class mail for FREE in the United States. I only take Paypal for International bidders. I will also combine any additional auction seeds (within 5 days) for no additional shipping charge. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 65°F in the spring. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 2-3 seeds per pot and thin to one plant per container. After four weeks, transplant seedlings to larger pots, and about 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny, highly composted location when soil temperatures are at least 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Stake or cage the plants for support and to prevent sprawling on the ground.

OMGOSH! This is the *answer to my problem! I simply cannot eat Any red tomatoes anymore at all, no red tomato anything, including ketchup! Red tomatoes cause gall stones, that OMGosh, make me feel like I'm *dying when they get stuck! I can eat orange tomatoes though, and have grown to love them, they're so sweet and tasty! Why, I was just thinking the other day, I wish they would come up with an orange roma tomato, so I can once again enjoy spaghetti, and pizza, and whalla, here you are! I may not win, but I'll at least TRY!

I had fun with all the orange and even yellow paste tomatoes. I did a lot of cooking and preserving with them. There is a Cream Sausage Tomato that is excellent too. I have very few of those left though.

I have never heard of a 'cream sausage tomato'? What is it? What is it like? What color is it?

It is a very light yellow, it might even be considered a white tomato. It is another old heirloom. It is a Roma-type sauce/paste tomato.
