The listing, Vintage Crochet Doily Very Fine Thread 17 Inch White has ended.

This is another doily made by my great aunt, the thread used is very fine and the crochet looks like a spider web. The doily is 17 inches wide, it is done with a fine white thread and is beautiful.

My mom used to make doilys all the time when I was younger! I used to watch her and admire the work that she did! =) This is a very beautiful doily that your great aunt made!

I am sure it must have taken her quite some time, I know when I do one this size it takes me a while but then I stop and do other things in between. Really working the smaller hooks is more rewarding than a larger one and not that much harder.

This is so beautiful! This is a really nice size doily also. 17 inches. The skill and tiime it took to make these were a labor of love. So intricate and delicate.
