Up for auction is this captivating silver ring size 6.5, stamped 925. The radiant round cut pink topaz is beautiful. Eighteen baguette cut topaz swirl around the main stone. Topaz is the birthstone of November.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.

November's birthstone is the yellow Topaz not the pink. I wish it was the pink. I have never been crazy about the yellow topaz, but that is my son's birthstone so I have it in one of my rings. This ring is gorgeous. F&W

Thanks so much. The info that I received was that topaz occurs in a range of colors – blue, pale green, varying shades of yellow, pink, red, brown and even black.

You are welcome. I am glad you didn't get upset about me correcting that. November's is that dark ugly yellow. It's not even a pretty yellow. It almost looks like a mustard yellow. They do have other color topaz though. I wonder who came up with what stone was for each month?
