The listing, Vintage Avon Trinket Box has ended.

Up for auction is a vintage lead crystal jewelry/trinket box from Avon... I do not know exactly how old it is, but I do know it belonged to my mom, so it has been around quite a long time...

For as old as it is, it is in awesome shape. probably because for many years it has been tucked away & wrapped in cloth, very protected...

I thought it was time somebody who may be into collecting Avon items have it to admire, as I have...

As the pics indicate, it is an odd shape, which adds to it's charm, in my opinion... The lid has pretty pink roses in a basket on it, & there is still a sticker on the bottom which says:

24% FULL LEAD
CRYSTAL

There are absolutely NO cracks, or chips in this piece...

They sure have, & maybe it's just me, but I really LOVE their older stuff like this, over the newer now-a-day items... Maybe I just got used to it, my mom collected stuff for years, but she had some beautiful items around the house when I was little... :-)

It is very pretty & special... I actually wish I could keep all my treasures & my mother's treasures as well, but our house just is not as big as my mama's house was, & they have mostly just been packed tenderly away... They need to be out & enjoyed by someone... :-)
