Ahhhh! I'm on the fence with all of them. I am a HUGE Oz collector and I try to only get what is still in original shape (packaging). I'm definitely watching VERY CLOSELY! ;-)
L-O-V-E Oz...like enough to make an over-the-top twirling dress. If it's hard to see, the fabrics are Dorothy with the Kansas characters, red poppies, Dorothy & friends meet Oz on the petticoat in the right pic, & MY FAVORITE print...the pisssed off trees throwing apples :)
Lol i am a colkector 2. i have brass key dorothy, tinmen, scare crow, and cowerdly lion porcelain dolls and binnie babies. i love them. i am actually selling a barbie dorothy plastic doll with wizard of oz image of charaters purse. if it doesn't sell on ebay i will most deffenetaly post them on listia. and i got a scarecrow, and 2 munchkin toys from mc dnlds (nwp) if interested. keep posted :)
Argh, ebay. I have a love-hate relationship with them & some bidders. I actually just pulled some of my antiques & vintage items to list here when I got a $25 offer on an antique wooden box nearly 100 years old in almost mint condition & an insulting $50 on the Wizard of Oz dress that used 10 yards of fabric to make. But I never stay away. Ebay is like my bad-boy boyfriend...I try to dump ebay & ebay comes back talkin all sweet to me like "oh baby, come back" & of course I do. It's a vicious cycle, me & ebay :)
Lol i'll see if my items sale. if not i'll list them on here :) i just don't like the fact that ebay charges you a monthly fee. i just payed $64.00 :/ sux really.
do you have an ebay "store"? I've been selling for years & never had a monthly fee. However, the 10% EVEN ON SHIPPING with paypal fees taken out on top of it are particularly brutal as a seller who only sells hand-made dresses.. But the exposure & reach are undeniable.
Hotness! Just checked out the dress. LOVE IT! We may need to talk in private about how I can get you to make me one ;-) I can relate a bit with ebay. I'll buy but never sell there.
Help me hunt for the fabric & prints you like & I can do that. I'm all out of Oz fabric & had not planned on getting more. Licensed fabrics are always more expensive than regular prints & for what I'm forced to charge to just break even, let alone get paid for the time invested in something like THAT dress makes it a super-hard sell in this economy.
I'm knocking out some emoticon smileys to clear out the comments so listai can quit nagging me like my mom, telling me I need to respond to 2 comments :)~
