The listing, Famous Vidalia Sweet Onion Seeds (20) has ended.
This is for 20 seeds of the Famous Vidalia Sweet Onions. Soil…
Must be sandy enough to let sulfur wash through to the clay below. Sulfur is what makes onions hot and pungent, so low sulfur creates mild, sweet onions. In South Georgia, we receive about 50 inches of rain annually, which helps leach sulfur out of the sandy root zone.
Planting starts usually Oct. Harvested in April.
UPDATE; The post office has told me that normal envelopes will cost more to send. So now I send out seeds in brown bubble envelopes there the person inside the Post Office. They are weighed and Postage is done at the counter. IF you get a package that says it requires more postage DO NOT pay it contact me ASAP. This should not happen and I will contact the post office to Fix it. It has only happened once now out of the last 50 mailing but I want to give a heads up anyhow.
