Description
The listing, Heart stone has ended.
Beautiful stone. The name of it I sure do not know. It is heavy and very cold to the touch. A little late for valentines.
Please I follow all of listia rules and expect my bidders to do the same. TY :)
I always pay shipping and get a tracking number, however to keep doing that I need to make sure I'm getting enough on credits to cover that. 1500 credits is worth $1.50 to me. so please no rude comments. And please under stand my reason for starting bids out so high TY :-) I'm on social security and have a limited income just like most of U
Questions & Comments
F & W I'm a friend of Karen Gros:) and thanks for letting me know this: 1500 credits is worth $1.50. I wondered about that. I spent $17 in shipping today!
You know I believe that and then I still lean towards the fact that 1500 credits is $5....Because if you go on to the sight were Listia sells credits that is what it costs. But when you spend $17 in shipping like U did and I did just today how do you give with out going broke. So I try to focus my start bid at what it will cost in shipping on most items especially heavy items. There has to be a fair and happy beginning and end. Its hard , if you think U figured it out please share I'm open.
Maybe it has a glitter look though and My tigers eye jewelry from my grandmother does not sparkle like it does. It is pretty! I have no use for it. Hope someone does :)
I'm glad someone thinks like I do. I asked one other person and she said she likes to spend money on her Listia friends! Another woman was going broke and was going to have her last auction but her husband said it was ok even though he was working two jobs. My problem is I'm new so it COSTS me credits (I haven't received credits for the items I sent out yet) to get the starting bid up. sigh...
I really do not know where I'm on that. I have so much stuff to get rid of and I was having troubles getting rid of it at yard sales and eBay and Craig's list. Listia has given me that ability to get my closets cleaned out and put a few things I do want back in my pocket. Such as I spent the max in credits every day on a raffle recently and won a 60 inch smart TV...... I needed a TV so bad mine died a year ago... So listia has paid off for me. If I spend a little on shipping it is like savings that we have a hard time doing because something always pops up and needs the money.
i understand about spending on shipping as i now just send things i can send in an envelope as on a fixed income too... ty for free shipping your items hugs
What I have been doing is if I can ship for $1.00 or under I will ship free. There is somethings that I send in 9"x12" or 10"x13" that may cost $1.50 I will still ship that free but I try not to send the higher amounts right next to each other so that I have to mail them at the same time. So I just receently just started having to ship with a charge more then before because I was going to the poor house between that and buying stuff that had shipping charge it all adds up real quick! I also used to start EVERYTHING with 499 but a year in realized I was not even getting the crredits it was worth let alone the free shipping.
