These mild flavored turnips are known for both their crisp roots and tender greens. The roots will stay firm up to 3 inches and not get pithy. Flavor is best in cool weather so in many areas they can be planted soon as they are frost tolerant. They are very fast growing and you can easily pick the greens in 3 to 4 weeks and the roots are ready in 45 to 65 days. All around excellent turnip.
Unlike most of the other seeds I offer I did not produce these seeds in my garden, I bought way too many packs for the space I ended up with. They are an Heirloom Variety and are not GMO.
