I received this oriental container made from bamboo over thirty-five years ago when I was going to an oriental young doctor for acupuncture treatments for migraine headaches. She was so sweet and gave me this as a gift at Christmas. I do not know what the inscription says on the side.

It measures approximately 2 3/4" wide and is approximately 4 1/2" tall.

I used this as a pen and pencil holder at work so it does have some ink marks on the inside as shown in the last two pictures. Other than that it is in excellent condition.
