Description

The listing, BIG FOUR INCH BUG Really Look has ended.

This is a real bug. It is not alive. It is sort of mumified. It is mostly just the shell of a bug, very light, hollow inside and very fragile. A lady I know brought it home from a trip to the Middle East many years ago. I never heard if she brought it home dead or alive. I have visions of her finding it in her luggage when she got back home. Anyway, it will not harm you unless possibly if you injest it and I dont recommend that. If you just look at it I assure you it will be a real conversation piece. I have had people in awe of it the few months I have owned it. Their mouths fall open and their eyes get big. It is a big hit. Good sport that I am I have decided to share this creature with the world. Maybe after the winner enjoys its company for a while they will relist it for others to share. Winners choice.

This bug measures a full 4" long.

SHIPPING IS FREE IN THE U.S.

MODERATOR EDIT: $20 bill is shown for size and is not included in the auction

Wow, gross! I bet my father-in-law would like this...are all it's legs and parts all intact still? It really is an amazing specimen! I'll be watching :)

It is intact and that alone is amazing because it is so light and fragile. Everything is attatched but I wouldnt plan on bending its legs or anthing. They would snap off pretty easy. It came to me in a little box, bottom only. The box is yellow and that is where he stays it is sort of part of him. The box is included.

What you have here is a Elephant Beetle.Commonly found in southern Texas, southern Mexico, Central America, in South American rainforests, and in parts of Australia. It is much like the its close relative the hercules beetle.

I added a bit that the $20 bill is used for scale. Please do not include it in the auction as this would break the rules.

I also removed the word "continental" when it comes to shipping. Free shipping must be unconditional. If you're shipping by USPS, it doesn't cost any extra to send to Alaska, Hawaii or the US territories.

Thanks Tyhana. I didnt know about either of those issues but I didnt mean to mislead anyone. Feel fre to jump in anytime I mess up. I love it. Ebay would have cancelled the auction, raised my fees and suspended me for a month.
