Hope you win them Debbie. What breed of dog do you have in your photo? We lost our last dog when she was 14. It was like losing a loved one. We were so attached to this dog it broke my heart to have to take her to the vet and put her to sleep but she was in so mulch pain with cancer. That was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. They bring so much joy and love to our lives. I donate to ASPCA each month to help feed and save abused animals. Sorry for rambling, but even after 2 years, I still get emotional about our sweet Maxie! I would love to have another dog, but we rent now, and our owner doesn't allow pets. We hope to buy a condo next year, so we can get us a beautiful loving dog. God Bless!

She a rough coat Jack Russell. I also have a broken coat Jack. They are both rescues, and now beyond vintage into antique! I know what you mean about losing a pet. It's family. Teddy is 21+, and I've had him since he was 6. It's going to be a real sad day, when he goes to the Bridge. I won't get over that one easily. Bless you for donating. And remember, don't support puppy mills/pet stores. Adopt, don't shop! :)

That's exactly how we got our dog through adoption. I agree with you about puppy mills/pet stores!

Whew! After I wrote that, I was hoping you didn't mind my little speech about adopting. Some people get defensive.
