This is a vintage 2 oz. gold spray bottle of Braggi men's cologne., which was made for Charles Revson in 1966 - it was available in a short clear bottle, and that is the only one I've found. You might recall the famous ad , for the naked man shaving with Shelley Hack (supermodel) sitting next to him on the bathroom counter, in her bathrobe! It caused quite a stir at the time! My pics don't do it justice ! It's a beautiful simple gold bottle , with an embossed head of a man (looks Like Alexander the great!) and a simple clear sticker on the bottom(sorry my pic got cutoff) . The fragrance has intensified over the yrs. and it feels like it is full (hard to tell, as you cannot see inside , but it's heavy!(And if you shake it you can hear it). In the ad on Shelley Hack's Blogspot , it says"For the man who can take care of himself" And has a pic of the smaller clear bottle. This is a fantastic item for the collector of vintage Fragrances! And it isn't likely you'll find another!Especially nearly full , in good condition(some minor scuffs and scratches in the bottle, the metal cap has two thin squiggles )The bottle is made from glass, and somehow the gold has maintained it's beautiful luster for decades!
The last pic is the Braggi Coin pendant that came with this bottle, the pic isn't true to the real thing, there is absolutely no look of silver in the real piece , it is totally a bright warm gold ,looks like 14 or 18KT gold, but it's just plated I am sure.It is in fine condition, despite that I had it hanging on a pocketbook for yrs. I was cleaning out the closet last night and I was so excited I find it before this auction ends! Lucky you!!
