10 Chaste Vitex Negundo is a heat and drought tolerant plant, It looks like a buddleia butterfly bush , but it comes back every year here in central Florida. Attracts so many butterfly's. It is a Butterfly nectar plant.

I have not idea , it originally comes from Texas , and does very well here in Florida.
I have dug my original plant up three times and moved it. It does have a dormant period so maybe! Thanks for writing. Tammy

I think it would need to be a container plant you move outside in the spring. This plant comes from Texas, but grows very well here in Florida. I have dug mine up three times and replanted it. It is very durable, I'm just not sure about Michigan. Thanks for commenting! Tammy
