Description
The listing, 1945 "S" Wheat Cent Mint Mark Error Slanted "S" has ended.
We have up for auction a 1945 "S" Wheat Back Cent with a Slanted Mint Mark. This is about the best photo I could get of it without blurring it. The slant looks much more drastic with the naked eye, or a 30x Loupe. It is definitely slanted at least 10 degrees counterclockwise.
when you get that microscope, how about trying it out on this coin and emailing me the pics. 1* I would love to see how this error looks. I've never owned or seen one up close. 2* I really want to see what you can do with these digital microscopes. Supposedly you can do quite a bit with them and some of them can save a 100x image on your computer I think. Thats sick. I can't imagine how easy it would make taking coin pictures for auctions. I bought some .01 ct diamonds and the images the guy sent me were amazing. It made them look like 1 ct diamonds. I have some really great gems and semi precious gems I would love to take pictures of and just study. So many uses for an such an inexpensive piece of equipment. Can't wait till ya get it. I'm probably as anxious as you are just to hear your opinion. I want to buy one bad,....pretty soon. :)
Wish it wasn't too late to edit this auction. I got a 60x magnification photo of the mint mark slant! MSG me with your email address if you'd like to see it at 60x!
