I am pleased to offer for auction today on Listia this neat lot of three small antique items.

The first is a tiny little hinged tin that once held Penslar “Laxative Cold Breakers.” The tin is empty.

Also included is a matchbox-sized box that holds E. W Grove “Laxative Bromo Quinine.” There are still a few tablets in the box. “For La Grippe and colds.” There is an interesting article about E.W. Grove products at http://www.grovearcade.com/groves-tasteless-chill-tonic.

Last is a matchbook-type container from Rodgers Funeral Home (Irwin, PA - Phone 138) that contains “Faintex” “for use as a smelling salts.” This still contains two smelling salts.
