I was (and one day soon will be again) a Creative Memories Consultant from 1999-2002. One of the celebrated "marathon workshops" that gets promoted by CM as one of the largest events of the year is National Scrapbook Day, usually celebrated on a Saturday near the end of May each year.

Every year, CM picks/chooses/designs a NEW theme for the event along with lots of Limited Edition Items that are produced and available for sale EXCLUSIVELY to active consultants who then take on the theme of CM's choosing and creation that year for their own "marathon workshop" which basically is a larger than normal workshop (which range between 2-4 hours) and this special workshop since it's more than double our average length of workshops (usually 6-8 or more hours) which varies from Consultant to Consultant. The event becomes a highlight not only for the Consultants to plan for but for workshop attendees to look forward to each year because included with their entrance fee comes LOTS of new products, many of which are created and given out to each participant that attends.

In May of 2000, the theme of National Scrapbook Day by Creative Memories was "Purple Pizazz" (it had a catchier name, but the items had this theme). This is a small 4x6 or 5x7 (depnding if you measure the package or just contents) which is just one of the items I handed out that day to my workshop participants. Customers were not allowed to purchase these and only consultants could buy them NOT for retail sale but only to give to our customers attending National Scrapbook Day (among many other things).

This little kit contains the CM trademark "sample pages insert" and was designed to make AT LEAST 3-4 scrapbook pages for those of you that are familar with CM's "simple" style.
