The listing, ""AIR"" HOGS Remote Control Helicopter has ended.
"" MICRO DRONE"" Model : SWAT 4652-10 RC helicopters and planes provide hours of enjoyment for parents and kids alike. this one has only been played with twice. have had it put up for over a year. still great condition. has stabilizer control buttons. adjustable tail blades for tail weight (not a cheap toy). Sending without Batteries so's shipping cost will not be so much. it use's AA, an AAA.Batteries. ( Batterie for helicopter is rechargeable. )
I'm looking for a remote controlled helicopter for my son, who will be 9 in May. Unfortunately, I'm totally clueless when it comes to which is the right one based on recommended age, durability, indoor/outdoor use etc. With that being said, would you recommend this for a 9-year old who has no experience with RC toys?
this is a good learning. it's durable than most, and not as costly. 9 yr old's are smarter sometime's than us old people. if he learns on this one how to use the stabilizer and tail weight he will be ready for bigger better RC's. it takes patience, a lot of stopping, and starting to get good at using remotes. if he has any patience what so ever he would do good to get this as a learner. plus the whole family will have fun.
Good questions. #1 all depends on how much the camera weighs. #2 learning to control it with weight would be the question. these being small have hair trigger's they take a lot to adjust just for slow response from the operator. you can make them jump anywhere but to fly takes a lot of patience. #3&4 you can only fly it as far as you can see.
