The listing, Set of 2 Handmade Random Act of Kindness Embellished Envelopes has ended.
I had a wonderful time making these Random Act of Kindness coin envelopes. A lot of good energy is already infused in them!
My daughters and I have given random people gifts throughout time and enjoy coming up with new ideas. We also donate to people who are in need and these little envelopes are an ideal way to give cash or gift cards to someone without just handing the card or money to them. I like to keep a couple of these in my purse for "Just in Case". It's fun to put cheerful quotes in them too. These are a huge hit at Women's Shelters. A little good deed there lasts a lifetime.
Each of these envelopes each measure approx. 3.75" H x 2.75" W.
I printed a pattern onto matte photo cardstock and then cut the envelopes out and taped the bottom and sides with double sided craft tape so they will hold up well for a very long time.
I printed the same pattern again onto matte photo paper and cut out the petals for the flowers, spritzed the petals, then I rolled and distressed them. After they dried I went around the edges of each leaf with Martha Stewart's golden glitter glue. It's hard to get a good photograph of the sparkle but they have a beautiful sparkle to them.
I then printed out a strip of foam green paper with the words "Random Act of Kindness" on it and cut it out and taped it below the flower. For the final touches I clipped a couple strands of pink ribbon and also taped them with double sided tape under the flower.
The top flap on the back of the envelopes each have a strip of double sided tape with the protective paper on them so that you can seal them up whenever you are ready to give these away.
These will surely be treasured by whoever is graced with them.
