beautiful ihi (India handicrafts Inc.) punch bowl/serveware. I believe it is pewter, but not 100% sure. we received this as a wedding gift in 2010 and have never used it. it has been sitting in my cabinet ever since. it's a beautiful piece, we just don't throw dinner parties, etc. it would be put to better use with someone that can showcase it.

So here is an update on this bowl. My inlaws were in town this past week. I showed this bowl to them and my father in law mentioned that it looked silver to him. we did some research and I do believe that this is a silver piece!! Ice melts almost instantly in it and it is not magnetic so it's NOT metal. I was actually thinking of taking this auction down and selling it for the money that it could be worth, but I'm not that dishonest. Si whoever gets this bowl may actually have something worth some money. My great uncle, who gave it to me is a millionaire and I never understood why he gave me this as a wedding gift.....well now I understand.

Lol. Yea. I was slightly disappointed, it never even occurred to me that it could be silver. but whoever wins it, I would be interested to know if they get it appraised and if so what the outcome is

I was actually able to research this company a bit by signing on with my tax ID to their website. Though they are not a silver company, they do produce fine aluminum barware, serveware and quality glassware for entertaining, So, even though it is probably not real Silver, it's still worthy of a good bid and would be great to win!
