These small strip measure 1 1/2" wide X various lengths. There are a few only 1 1/2", but most are 4" & 5". They fill up a 6" X 9" manila envelope pretty good.I almost want to keep these! This is what I use to make a postage stamp quilt. I cut muslin to 1 1/2" strips. Then, take these and lay them on top along the length of the strip. After they are sewn, then cut them at 1 1/2". When you open them up, you have a colored and a muslin piece sewn together. It's easier than handling (2) 1 1/2" squares. Then, just take those and sew them into a long chain. Once I have a bag full, I start sewing these strip together at whatever length I have decided upon. Hope that made sense! : )
