Questions & Comments
luvubear2, if you are going to give some advices to people who are new, u should be nicer about it. We all make mistakes because we are not perfect but we are human... and your 44 negative feedbacks prove that, okay... Dont be so rude, luvubear2.
I am newbie so I am still learning.... if someone really liked what the unusual rock looked like they might pay that but I am learning so I am lowering the GIN AND did lower the other auction you made similar comment on. if you know what kind of rocks these are you are welcome to assist, thanks
I know exactly what kind of rock it is!! And there are people out there who would possibly pay 20,000 credits for it. Lol! It's a semi precious stone. Can you tell me where u found this? And what state? Did you polish it your self? If so, how long did you tumble it? Also if you can could you please take a few pictures of it in different sides. Also just so u know, this is your Listia account! You can list whatever u want and how many credits you wish to start with too! So don't worry about someone who is being mean. It's none of there business. You will learn as you go. U will learn how much to list thing for after listing previous items. I've seen people on here listing pictures of a Xbox for 4000 credits! JUST A PICTURE NOT THE XBOX. So trust me.. You can list whatever u wAnt. And a quick way to get a few credits is to list recipes and start bid off for only 10 credits. Then u just email the recipe to winner. That's a easy way for new people to get a few extra credits.
I am so sorry, I kept thinking I was answering everyone's questions but it's in a different section from the auctions I was buying for myself. so I have neglected you all and your comments all this time. Thank you for the encouragement and the help identifying it. I am sure I can hang onto anything you end up winning till you are all moved in. thanks, grammytina
Sorry if I made you feel that I was questioning if you sent them. I meant that I thought it was awesome and I like your auctions, sorry if there was any confusions.
thank you very much... I am working on being more organized but I didn't take it wrong. I am glad you liked them so much you got several. Love repeat buyers. thank you very much. grammytina
u r kidding of course u expect someone to pay 20,000 credits and u don't even list what kind it is i would not give u 2000 for one polished rock but gl lol
I really want this rock!! I have a lot of these. Just let me know ASAP the answers to my questions. It would just be cool to have one from a different area.
the rocks were collected by a local (Washington State, USA) collector and has been accumulating them since the 1970's and I purchased the whole collection at an estate sale.... the rock tumbler had already been purchased or I would have loved it. Some of the rocks I got are in the raw, ie: not polished. I don't know how long they've been in a tumbler but based on the other specimins, they were are in different levels of being done. I am starting with the prettiest and hope to be able to work on the rest as time goes along. thank you for your interest., grammytina
I wanna bid, but I'm moving march 12,2014 and I am scared it will not make it to this address in time, and I do t wanna put down new address because it's so far away and I don't want it to make it there b4 me. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Lol.. :(
Hello Grammy! I'm Poppy, your newest fan and your 9th watcher on this lovely stone. I just lost one of your stones :( and I really, really wanted it. I should've bid higher. I'll be watching closely as you mentioned that you're tumbling more. Did I understand you correctly on that? You made a very good purchase at that estate sale! I'm fairly new on Listia myself, a bit over a month, still have lots to learn. I'm also new to stones & crystals and learning about them. This is truly stunning, God is amazing - so much beauty He created for us in everything in, on and of this planet He created for us to live on. Not to mention the miraculous bodies we have and all they are capable of! I was so sorry to read a rude comment on the auction I just lost. Please know that in my time here, I've met the most lovely people, so kind, friendly and helpful. The rude comment that woman left for you is the 1st I've seen so far, and I've looked at probably a 1,000 auctions!! Most people here are NOT like that. The other lady gave you good advice. On your auctions, YOU set the starting bid and GIN, if you choose to offer a GIN, and never, ever lower your starts or GINS unless you learn thru experience that you're not getting any bids and esp. if you're getting very few watchers. That's usually a good way to know if you've over estimated the value of something you're offering in an auction. Set your bids & GINS as you see fit - change them ONLY if you think you need to, not because someone tells you to. You, like me, will continue to learn as we go. You are doing wonderfully! God bless, Grammy, as I wish you a peaceful good night, filled with love, comfort and sweet dreams. ~Poppy~
