The listing, Vintage black orchid screw back earrings made in Austria has ended.
You are looking at a pair of vintage, Austrian screw-back earrings depicting an orchid with 3 white stones each, one in the center of the flower and two in the stamen tips. They are made of an unknown gold tone metal, at least it is not marked as gold and painted with black enamel paint. There is a marking on the back stating clearly, MADE IN AUSTRIA. They are in excellent condition for being vintage with only a little discoloration where the screw back connects to the back of the earring. All stones are present and they are really quite beautiful! I do not know the age of the earrings, they came in a box of other jewelry. The cigar box in the photo is not included.
