The listing, ASUS Eee PC Netbook-Working but screen is cracked, LOOK! has ended.

This aucution is for a ASUS Eee PC Netbook. This comes as is. The computer works fine and there are no viruses but my daughter threw her bottle at the screen and about half of it is cracked. I actually used the computer for awhile afterwards until I got a new one. It is usable if you have patience. I was able to go online and stuff like that. It is probably good for someone who knows how to fix computers or wants to use it or sell it for parts. You can see in the pictures what the screen looks like on. It does come with the original charger. It has a 10.1" display and a 1.3M camera. Well its up for grabs if anyone wants it, I have no use for it now because I bought a MacBook. If you have any questions I can try to answer them but I am not computer savy. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, I just didn't have the time to try and fix it and my husband broke the screen on his Macbook so it was better just to buy a new one. I didn't think of trying to use an external monitor until after I listed the auction which is also a good idea.

great a screen to replace i found one for 85 bucks to repair yourself which is cheap

I think 1005HAB is the model number, I bought it in July of 2009 so its less than two years old, it works fine for me except the screen issue. I just ended up getting a Macbook instead of dealing with it.

The thing on the computer says 10.1" display and 1.3M camera. I do see a flash card slot, 3 usb ports, headphone hole, i want to say it looks like a microphone hole, cable hole, charger hole, and external monitor hole. Thats just by looking at it im not sure on the inside part as far ath the space.

The manual says Windows XP Edition Eee PC 1005 Series (1005HA/1005HAB) I would say look that up and see what it tells you. I am sorry beacuse I don't know anything about computers and I don't want to mislead anyone. I bought it from best buy off the shelf so i am assuming that if you look up the style it will be the same as this one cause i didn't add anything to it. Hope that helps.

I couldnt help but giggle when I saw this. My kids knocked their dads laptop off the arm of the couch or something running around like idiots and we now have a flat screen external monitor hooked up to it. I may bid on this anyway because my son needs a computer and ill bet I can fix it. I went to school for computers for a few years I am just not fixing the one we have because the computer itself is already so old a replace screen for it is hard to find and the ones we found were more than I was willing to pay. I think a replacement screen for this might be more affordable since they are so small! Great auction!!!

RedRI list it the way it is, list what it has; but you dont have to say it needs more memory and you dont have to say its slow cause it might be fast enough for most people. And yes you will get alot of credits.

guys i need advice ok, i have this comqaq laptop alright presario c700 and it goes slow but the thing i know is it has ONLY 2 gigs of mem on it and hardrive: 160GB and windows vista ok so THE QUESTION should i list it and say it needs more ram or should i upgrade ram and list it? the only reason is i dont have money and i want to know if i'll still get alot of credits it still being a lil slow?
