Questions & Comments
I would have been interested in bidding but fedex is too much money for shipping. Usps.com offers insurance with the purchase of priority mail item and you have to option to increase the insurance amount and still be under 10 bucks...... just saying ..... good auction other than the shipping method
kjaviation... I would say do not bid then. I am not worried that there are not 50 dimes there, I would worry more about not getting 1 if anything. Bidding on a new user is always a gamble, and I am still at around 50% of won auctions. usually because they figured on getting a lot of credits and did not. the bid id high enough now to make it worth her while, but a bit much for a 50/50 gamble !!!
agreed mmilner, but again, the acceptable shipping payment bother me. like you, i wish listia would do something about the people who do not get the credits they want and then do not ship item. need something to reward the buyer.
Yes the winning bidder right now seems to be a partner in crime. Just to raise the credits! mmilner, I agree with you I am not going to bid. I sure wish people like this would stay off of Listia. I am new myself but this takes the cake.
How could you accuse me with no evidence. It's not like I was on here before scamming people. Give me a chance before you start accusing me of lying about the dimes
i have been around for about a year, this is a first for me. yep, if i was bidding i would let the partner have it now. he sure is running up the score, kinda lets the cat out of the bag.
I apologize for not responding to everyone. I had an emergency, and could not keep up online. Congratulations to the winner. I absolutely will be getting the dimes to you!
Also, I am not sure how payment works for shipping. I assumed I would pay for shipping in return for a money order, as it won't be expensive. I am trusting that whoever wins will honor repayment of shipping
Also, I have plenty of dimes. I will honor the bid, no matter if it's not high. I know I am new to thus site, so I understand hesitation. I won't ask for shipping payment upfront. It will not be much, so it's not a huge concern. I want the winner to be happy with the mercury dimes. I know they are very collectable. I don't collect them, so I want someone who gets them to appreciate them. Thank you everyone who's bidding and watching!
As for the winning bidder just a bit ago he had a different Facebook Page. Now he has one where his name is James Kincaid . 30 min ago he had almost a blank page. He is another scammer.
The winning bidder right now sold a pair of jeans showing he lives in Illinois, but his Facebook page says he live in Arizona . He is a partner in crime for sure and why no comments back about all of this from Ava.
I don't have a partner. I have no way to prove myself, except to the person that wins. I will be happy to email anyone more pictures, I can't upload them on here any longer
well i am a collector and would love to have them....so you say if i win the bid, you will ship and i can send a money order to reimburse you for shipping after i receive my dimes?
Yes, absolutely. Shipping will be minimal. I am trying to show more pictures, but it's saying no more changes are allowed to this auction. I can email them to anyone who wants them
my biggest concern was giving my paypal address to you. i am not worried about my credits, listia is great at protecting me on those. as for seeing the dimes, no biggie either, lots of folks use stock photos and dont show actual pics. man, if you are legitimate girl, i sure feel sorry for you, you have taken a beating on here.
like i said, if you are legitimate, sorry for all the bad publicity. good luck with your auction, and welcome to listia. it is a lot of fun. when you sell these do you have more you are going to be listing? my advice, beware of who wins, make sure and check out their verification b4 shipping those precious dimes. good luck
Ok, thank you. I probably got in over my head with this auction, I didn't know it would cause such a response. I guess people have had to deal with fraud, but it didn't occur to me when I listed them. I'm learning
I was ripped off 14,000 credits and $10 shipping on a damaged winter coat seller advertized "nearly new w/out tag". Listia didn't help, told me spend another $10 to return it and only get the credits refunded. One of several times I got cheated on listia.
we all went through the learning process, but i will say i never took a beating like you are. fyi, next time if you are charging shipping, state in description how you wish to be paid for shipping charges. you are allowed four pictures, try to use them all to show what you are selling. get your account verified with credit card, bank account, or paypal a.s.a.p. that will really help. again, good luck with this auction. that is a great start at building up some credits.
How about some more pictures of the coins to show them all. The photo you have is not very clear.. Plus if you Verify your name and address with Listia I might bid then.
