I just did a quick search and there is a lot of conflicting information out there about value on these that can be confusing. Some say they're worth not much over face value and others say over $100. What I found was value depends on condition (circulated or uncirculated) and how much a collector really wants them.

Yes, you're pretty much correct. Some are worth only slightly more than face value while others are worth even $1000+. There are several factors that play into the value just as there are with coins; paper currency is no different. We don't collect paper currency so our knowledge is nil.
