This is not a real fire opal.they are a fake opal and do not stand out above the sterling silver band.These are not stones.Not sure what they are called but is a pretty ring.
It is a size 8
Brand new ring,never worn

Nothing wrong with this ring at all and I do not believe these are fake opals.. I *think* they may be doublets/triplets which simply means that slices of opal are afixed (glued) to another piece of material.....that would explain why they don't go past the setting... This doesn't mean that they're fake at all and can be very expensive to purchase. Very nice ring F&W
