FREE: Unique earrings

I don't really know a lot about these earrings. I found them about a year ago on the beach and have worn them several times. Their really unique and I have yet to see them anywhere else I've been. They look to me to have a screen print feather design on thread that is woven around a spiraled metal exterior. I'm thinking someone may have made them but again, I'm not sure of their history. Please note that on the top section of one of the earrings, the metal casing has come loose from the base but certainly can be fixed with a little patience. The earring is still wearable with or without the repair. I've inclosed a picture ( last pic) of what should be mended and also pictures of the back side of the earrings ( pic 4 & 5 ) in case you wanted to know.
