This VINTAGE GILLETTE RAZOR is a double edge safety razo it is a tto/tech made in 1960 tto/tech is an abbreviation that means turn to open technomatic it is also called the fat boy because of its nice short 3 inch thick handle the end of the handle measures a half inch in diameter and its overall length is three and a half inches it has an adjustable 1 to 9 settings this razor has a good click to each of the settings I believe it is all brass and nickel plated as with all pre-owned vintage items they will show age and use marks over the years and that's what's to be expected this razor is in great condition for being over 50 years old and is ready to be used or displayed it has a letter and a number mark on the bottom side. and they are F and 2 which stands for the year and the quarter in which it was made they had used a serial number up until the end of 1954 and the method of keeping track was changed to a letter to represent the year and a number to represent which quarter of the year in which it was made this razor is an F 2 therefore it was made in the second quarter of 1960

I had one of these and it was taken away in Coast Guard boot camp; I never got it back. Best razor ever with inexpensive blades that were easy to clean and last a long time. Can you still buy blades for these?

no I haven't used that particular razor I have one similar that I use and no I'm sorry I don't have a case for it. I bought a soap dish container and a toothbrush holder for a dollar at the local dollar store here where I live and that soap container works perfect to hold my razor and blades in that was a good comment thank you
