They were literally taken out of package washed put on my bed and immediately removed because I didn't like how it clashed with the rest of my room decor...so I guess you decide new/used. Never slept on,but have been washed.

It's really pretty. In the discription when I purchased it, it said King Size Zebra Leopard Safari Patchwork Faux Silk Black / Grey Comforter Set. I'm more of a zebra print. My bedroom and bathroom are both complete zebra print so it totally clashed
