This highly successful situation comedy Petticoat Junction was set in a small town of Hooterville. The show focused on Kate Bradley, the widowed owner of shady rest hotal, her three daughters Billie Jo, Bobbie Jo, Betty Jo and good Uncle Joe. The hilarious story lines come from Kate's involvement with her daughters' love lives, her fights wit the rail road (CF & W) that ran through Hooterville, her associations with townspeople and her hair rising money making schemes. This long-running show was on the top of the charts through out its 7 year stint.
