will these speakers work on a desktop PC? i have no speakers on mine and wanted to know if these could take the place of no speakers at all.

They plug into the headphones spot on any of the devices I listed above. From just looking at the plug through the package it looks like it would fit my desktop pc, and laptop pc. I would say yes.

I was wondering about the sound from these. Is it loud enough to hear well if you were watching a video on pc?

They are in the package. I myself have not tried these. I would say they won't be as loud as regular set of pc speakers are, but should help replace them till you can get you some.
