I have a German Shepard would these be too small?

They are on the smaller side but my big concern was because I have an English Bulldog. They have zero space at the back of their throat and they can't get something out if it gets stuck. They aren't even supposed to have stuffed toys, beds or any toys made out of rawhide. I'm not sure about a German shepherd. I would suggest you watch him play with them and see how he does. Don't leave him a lone at first. I bought the bulldog for my husband and he wasn't cheap. I didn't want to take any chances. He was okay when he was a puppy but he just outgrew them too fast
