Description

The listing, Pygmy Date Palm Seeds has ended.

The winner will receive (4) Pygmy Date Palm Seeds
(Phoenix Roebelenii)

The Phoenix Roebelenii, also known as the Pygmy Date Palm Tree or The Miniature Date Palm, is a beautiful and easy plant to add to your garden, and is one of the most popular plants to use in landscaping. It can also be grown in pots indoors!
This is a palm that truly everyone should have. It makes a great houseplant or lawn ornament. It only grows to 10 ft. ( smaller in containers ) and forms a perfect miniature palm. It has a slim, solitary trunk with soft feathery green leaves. The seeds germinate easily ( usually within six to eight weeks ) and the plant requires little maintenance or attention. Tolerates low light and abuse.
This is one of those tropical trees that prefers sunny places, but it may still grow in slight shadow. Phoenix roebelenii doesn’t tolerate frosts. Its leaves get damaged when the temperature drops to a temperature of 30°F(- 1,11°С). That’s why such tropical trees may be planted in the open soil in the gardens of zones 9-11 of USDA. If you don’t have this option, they can be grown in containers.

Lol, that's not a dumb question, as I was also curious and this is a new plant to me. Heres what I found: the pygmy date palm (Phoenix roebelenii), matures at a height between 6 and 12 feet tall. Its long leaves form a sweeping feather shape over the single, upright trunk. Pygmy date palms produce cream-colored blossoms and small, dark clusters of fruit.

Very interesting :) I wonder if this is still true if just planted indoors, I cant seem to find anything on that but I will keep looking. Also, I will message you about your other question.
Thanks for your interest :)
