The listing, Original 1963 Topps #372 DON LEE (L.A. Angels) has ended.
This is a 1963 Topps DON LEE baseball card.
Lee was a pitcher with the Los Angeles Angels.
A 9 year veteran pitcher who split his time between starting and long relief, Don Lee won 40 MLB games, and enjoyed his best years during his 4 year run with the Los Angeles Angels, where he compiled a 3.35 ERA over 110 games (52 starts).
As for his place in history, Lee surrendered a home run in 1960 to Red Sox legend Ted Williams, 21 years after Williams had homered off of Thornton Lee, Don's father. With the home run, Ted Williams became the only man in MLB history to have homered off of a father-son duo.
Card has a nice surface and no creases, check out the pictures.
