The listing, Linksys WMP600N Wireless-N Dual Band PCI Adapter with 6dbi Antennas has ended.
I have a Linksys WMP600N Wireless-N Dual Band PCI adapter. I originally purchased this on Ebay as a "Refurbished" card, but have had no issues with the component, as long as I have had it, since 2010. I no longer have a need for it. It has been tested and working properly. I've been getting an average throughput of 62-75 Mbps on my local network wifi.
I did lose one of the original screw on antennas, so one of the original small antennas, will be sent, along with 2 additional 6dbi large antennas, for slightly greater range capabilities from a router/access point. You can always easily install compatible antennas of your choice, as well.
This is PCI architecture, so it would be used in an older Desktop system with a PCI slot available. This is NOT the newer PCI-E slot, but older PCI connection, the two are not interchangeable.
Compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista (32 and 64-bit) and Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit).
It does also work with Linux. I have tested it with my Linux Mint 16 desktop, and it did install the card right away, and connected to my personal AC router wifi without any problems.
There is some light scuffing on the bottom of one of the 6dbi antennas, but other than that, it is in very good condition and functions very well.
